How to use it
- Export your design as PNG or JPG. Browsers can't open PSD or AI files directly.
- Drop it above, then click the part of the image that matters most.
- Check the previews. The banner shows its safe area and the profile picture shows its circle.
- Untick any sizes you don't need, then download one by one or as a ZIP.
Tips
- Start from a large image, ideally 2560 px wide or more, so the banner stays sharp.
- Choose Contain instead of Cover if you can't afford to lose any edge of the design.
- For thumbnails, compare options first with the thumbnail tester.
Frequently asked questions
What are all the YouTube image sizes?
Thumbnail 1280×720, channel banner 2560×1440 (safe area 1546×423), profile picture 800×800, Shorts and vertical 1080×1920, Full HD frame 1920×1080, community post 1080×1080, and video watermark 150×150. The table above lists each one.
What is the focus point?
Different sizes have different shapes, so each crop has to cut something off. Click on the part of your image that matters, such as a face or logo, and every crop favors that spot.
Why do some files get a lower quality setting?
YouTube limits thumbnails to 2 MB, banners to 6 MB and profile pictures to 4 MB. In JPEG mode, Sharesizer lowers quality just enough to stay under each limit.
Does my design leave my computer?
No. Everything is processed in your browser and the ZIP is built on your device.
